Ingress Passcodes and a Bulk Redemption Script (2015)
Note (2026): this is a 2015 post. The codes below have long expired, and the Intel map script no longer works — today passcodes are redeemed in the Ingress Prime app. I’m keeping the post as a piece of Ingress history.
Many of you have probably used Ingress codes (passcodes) at least once. You can find them online: agents post them in regional chats, on Google+ and on Twitter.
Redeeming a code from a phone or tablet isn’t very convenient — it’s much faster and easier on a computer, on the global Intel map (ingress.com/intel).

A few codes are no problem, but what if you’ve found a batch of fresh Ingress codes — more than 20? Clicking them in one by one is very inefficient.
To add a batch of codes you can use a script.
On GitHub, user DragorWW made a script for bulk passcode redemption.
I had to dig into it a bit and found why it didn’t work — it was missing one comma.
Here is the working script with some of the codes:
I’m posting the code as an image because it breaks when pasted into the post; you can download it here — ingress-passcode.js
How to use the script:
open Google Chrome → go to the global map (ingress.com/intel) → sign in → open the Passcode input → press F12 (a panel opens like in my screenshot) → go to the Console → paste the first part of the code (up to the line // add pascode) → press Enter → then paste the second part, with the passcodes themselves.
If you did everything right, the passcodes will be entered and redeemed one after another with a 3-second delay.
The only catch: you can’t enter many codes in a row — roughly 20, then you have to wait. The same limit applies even if you copy and paste them manually (I tried).

I took the codes from here — pastebin link
I also collected some codes around the web and entered them by hand; they get repeated in parts on different sites.
I redeemed codes not so much for the mods and bursters as just to try it out, out of curiosity. They mostly give level 1–4 gear anyway, so this is mainly useful for low-level players who want to stock up quickly and level up.
I’m already level 8 (expecting level 9 soon
), so this was all an experiment. Now if codes gave super mods or lots of high-level resonators — wow ![]()
Such a tedious way of entering codes can hardly be called cheating: you have to find the codes, prepare them, put them into the script and then feed them to the map in several rounds.
