My First Ingress Portal — the Globe in Dergachi

Now I’ve made my own contribution to Ingress.
I submitted a new portal — my first one

At a playground next to a school in Dergachi (near Kharkiv, Ukraine) I noticed this cool thing — a big metal globe.

I named the portal “Globus Dergachi”.

The most interesting part: I had read that new portals usually go live within 2–3 weeks, but this one was already active the next day. Very fast.

Now, whenever I walk around town, I immediately notice objects that would make good and interesting portals.

Do you submit portals?
