Whispers of Doom, StarCraft II: Where Is Kerrigan’s Third Hatchery
Zeratul is wandering in the dark in search of the prophecy. To complete every objective in the “Whispers of Doom” mission of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and get the maximum research, you need to destroy three of Kerrigan’s zerg hatcheries.

Where the third hatchery is
The first and second hatcheries are probably no problem: they’re in plain sight on the way to the first and second shrines. To find the third one:
- Defeat Kerrigan’s defenses near the third xel’naga shrine, but don’t go to the shrine itself yet — it starts a timer, and you won’t have enough time afterwards.
- To the lower left of the third shrine there’s a ledge blocked off by destructible rocks.
- Use Blink to jump onto the ledge — that’s where Kerrigan’s third hatchery is.
Destroy it, and the optional objective is complete, along with the research it gives for this mission.
Don’t miss the ship
Once Zeratul takes the last part of the prophecy, he has only two minutes to get to his ship. So it’s best to destroy all the hatcheries beforehand.
